Peder Hartz from HamKam is in Denmark this week, where he trains with FC Nordsjaelland. The stay is part of Nordsjaelland's focus on young talents. Peder will also be with the team in the Netherlands to meet top clubs like Twente, Genk and Heerenveen. - This is a great opportunity for Peder to measure himself against some of the best players in his age group in Europe, says HamKam's sports manager. - He will gain valuable experience both on and off the pitch. This will give both Peder and us good references on where he stands in an international perspective. It's also great that our best young players are followed by the big clubs. Big kudos to our academy for good work. Hartz has long been one of the most exciting young players in the HamKam system, and the club puts a lot of emphasis on giving young talents challenges that stimulate further development. - We want our most ambitious players to get to know the level outside of Norway. For Peder, this is not just about showing himself, but about learning, growing and getting impulses that he takes with him back to Hamar, says the sports manager. Peder Hartz is the first 2011 model from all of Scandinavia to be selected for this collection. - I have had an individual training with the head coach of all teams that I think was very instructive and we trained on different things I need to develop. Turns, touch, drive with the ball, scanning and shooting. Today I trained with U15 for the first time, introduce the young man before he leaves. - I was well received by teammates and had a good training session with them. Feel like I fit in with the level. Peder Hartz tells a little about how the stay has been the first days. - I would say that the stay so far has been very, very good. Tomorrow I will train with U17, which will be very exciting. It will probably be a bit tougher. I must also praise all the people who work here. They are very friendly and everything works very professionally. I live in a flat on the 'campus' and get all my meals in a shared canteen. Everyone eats together, from 14-year-olds to the A-team. And all the training facilities are on campus. This is 25 minutes from Copenhagen, so it's close to the city too. Now I'm looking forward very much to the tournament in the Netherlands/Belgium where I meet Heerenveen, Twente and Genk. I just have to get through a 12-hour bus ride down there, but it will be fine, smiles a happy Kamma player, HamKam wishes Peder good luck in Denmark and the Netherlands.
